Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales
Tickets are sold by Ad Gefrin LLP registered company number: OC425263.
The purchase of a ticket entitles the bearer to access Ad Gefrin Anglo-Saxon Museum & Distillery exhibitions for a day visit, distillery tour or named event, at the time and date stated on the face of the ticket. Please check your ticket(s) carefully on receipt, and notify Ad Gefrin as soon as reasonably possible, if the event/date/time is not as you expected.
Ad Gefrin will not mail out any tickets purchased online, unless otherwise stated. When your purchase has been confirmed your reference is the dispatched e-mail sent to the e-mail address you specified. It is your responsibility to check prior to purchase that the information you have supplied to us in respect of your ticket requirements is accurate. We are only responsible for issuing tickets in accordance with the information you provide.
Please note that purchase of an event ticket does not include entry to Ad Gefrin’s exhibitions unless otherwise stated; and vice versa.
For the purposes of ticket sales, the following definitions apply:
- An Adult is a person aged 18 years and over.
- A Child is a person aged 0 to 17 years.
No access will be granted to unsupervised children unless prior written consent has been granted by Ad Gefrin.
No ticket may be resold without the prior written consent of Ad Gefrin. If any person attempts to enter Ad Gefrin with a ticket that has been resold without Ad Gefrin’s written consent, Ad Gefrin may refuse entry and no compensation is payable to that person by Ad Gefrin.
Tickets are non-refundable. In the event that you cannot attend on your specified ticket date and time you may request that your ticket be transferred to an alternative date no later than 24 hours prior to your original ticket date. If you are unable to rebook your tickets you may request a credit on your account equal to the value of your unused tickets.
You must comply with the Health and Safety regulations of Ad Gefrin for the duration of your visit.
Ad Gefrin reserves the right to refuse entry if staff believe your behaviour may affect other visitors’ enjoyment of the experience.
Ad Gefrin is committed to providing access to all and is happy to make reasonable adjustments to ensure you enjoy your visit. If you have any specific concerns regarding Ad Gefrin‘s ability to accommodate you please talk to our staff prior to your visit.
Gift Vouchers
Definitions
Experience & Ticket Gift Vouchers – Vouchers entitling the holder to bookings for Museum or Distillery tickets or Experiences as offered on the Ad Gefrin website. Some Experiences may include food and drink as defined in the Experience description. This does not include special events or workshops. Each voucher will clearly state the period within which it is valid.
Membership Gift Vouchers – Vouchers entitling the holder to take out an annual Corengyst membership. Vouchers will be valid for a period of one year with Membership valid for one year from point of activation.
Cash Value Gift Vouchers – These £25 vouchers are able to be used for purchases in person at the Bistro and Gift Shop at Ad Gefrin in Wooler.
General Conditions
- All Ad Gefrin Gift Vouchers bought online or in person are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase (expiry date is printed on Voucher).
- Ad Gefrin Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.
- You can exchange Ad Gefrin Experience Gift Vouchers for payment for tickets or Experiences at our site at Ad Gefrin in Wooler. Bookings can be made online or in person.
- None of the Gift Vouchers can be used for purchase of goods from our online gift shop.
- A printable pdf of the Voucher will be sent electronically for Vouchers purchased online. The option to request a hard copy Voucher will be available in person or by post (at an additional cost to cover postage).
- You cannot exchange Gift Vouchers for their equivalent value in money.
- For Cash Value Vouchers the full value of the Voucher must be redeemed in one transaction in either the Ad Gefrin Bistro or Gift Shop.
- An Experience Voucher purchased for a particular Experience may be used in exchange for an alternative Experience product but only after contacting Ad Gefrin to make this change. It is not applicable for special events or workshops.
- A Corengyst Annual membership, once activated with the Membership Gift Voucher, is non-transferable during the year and can only be used by the person named on the membership.
- When you redeem Gift Vouchers online or over the telephone for Tickets or Experiences, you will be required to give the serial number of the Voucher.
- We reserve the right to refuse to accept a Gift Voucher which we deem to be tampered with, duplicated or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud.
- We reserve the right to amend the Gift Voucher terms and conditions from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so.
To use your Gift Vouchers
To redeem any of the Experience vouchers online select the relevant Experience at a date and time of your choosing and in the Promotion/Voucher code box on the basket page enter the code printed on your voucher to receive the relevant discount on the price, then proceed through to checkout.
To redeem the Corengyst Annual Membership voucher online select the relevant Membership and in the Promotion/Voucher code box on the basket page enter the code printed on your voucher to activate the membership, then proceed through to checkout. Membership cards will be sent out to the address entered on the membership.
To redeem a Voucher in person at Ad Gefrin please bring along the printed or electronic Voucher code which can then be used in payment for a ticket booking (in the case of Experience Vouchers) or for purchases in our bistro or shop (in the case of Cash Value Vouchers).
